Out of all the videos out this year, this one is a banger. Seeing Jamestown High School slayed in a film of this caliber tops it for us here at the Blend. Also the backcountry booters are siock, making this a nicely diverse film.
Flip Skateboards Flip Extremely Sorry DVD
Five years in the making, “Extremely Sorry” is the third release in the trilogy of Flip Skateboards’ “Sorry” video series. The world famous Flip Team has evolved over time, but their original spirit remains intact, with levels of skate madness continuing to build to ever increasingly insane levels.
Famous not only for their insane skateboarding skills, the Flip Team is as notorious for their renegade lifestyles (don’t expect to see the Flip Team at the Olympics any time soon). Extremely Sorry was so named as a tongue in cheek mockery of the X-Games style of mainstream skateboard competitions.
Sadly, during the time of filming this latest production, one of Flip’s talented younger riders (Shane Cross), was fatally injured in a motorcycle accident (which also left Flip team-mate Ali Boulala in critical condition). Extremely Sorry is dedicated to the memory of Shane Cross, and may serve as an inspiration to young skaters worldwide to make the most of their freedom and creativity through this modern alternative to antiquated ball sports.
Features the Flip Team: Tom Penny, Geoff Rowley, Ali Boulala, Mark Appleyard, Rodrigo TX, Lance Mountain, Rune Glifberg, David Gonzalez, Shane Cross (RIP) , Louie Lopez, Curren Caples, Luan Oliveira, Willow, and others.

Ellicottville and Holiday Valley hosted the first annual Downtown Showdown rail jam. Riders tackled features provided from the 42 78 Holiday Valley Terrain Park. Local shops sponsored the event while Suburban Blend captured the action.

Suburban Blend in Jamestown, NY captured the action at Holiday Valley. Teams from local snowboard shops competed in the 2008 Shop Wars.

This a little video that I made one day with Big Bad Bill Cooley (aka tripple B)

Cooley pretends that he works at The Blend. His elaborate scheme leads the to thrashing of Jamestown streets.
Pete Scheira takes back-country snowboarding seriously. Here he takes a snowmobile to access untracked powder snow outside of the Mammoth Mountain boundaries

This is the first action video that I (Billy Bacon) ever made. I met Pete Scheira who was at a photo session with Dalton at Holimont. I saw them from the road hitting a massive tombstone. From there we planed to make a video for Suburban Blend. This is old school for sure. Pete did most of the filming and editing of the footage. I just mixed it up with tunes. Featuring: Alex Davis, Bill Cooley, Chris Perks, John Centi, Matt Homan, Pete, and Zak Wells
