Peek'n Peak Resort and Spa

Attention New York, Ohio, and Pennsylvania freestyle riders and skiers: The Peak is in the business of providing challenging terrain parks for all abilities. Check out the list of freestyle parks below and see for yourself on how they are being used.

180 Progression Park is located at the bottom of Alan-A-Dale. To make the learning on hill easier this terrain park will be a small feature park designed for entry-level park riders. See the action on our web cams.

360 Park on Doncaster Trail and Catapult.

540 Park and Pipe on Canterbury Trail is our most intense terrain park to date.

PRIOR to using Freestyle Terrain, you are responsible for familiarizing yourself with Freestyle Terrain and obeying all instructions, warnings and signs. Freestyle skills require maintaining control on the ground, and in the air.

Holiday Valley offers snowboarders and freeriders plenty of room to play. Terrain parks, a half pipe and a rail park are open to all. Check our events calender for upcoming competitions in Boarder Cross, Halfpipe, slopestyle and rails. For lots of good dialog on terrain, events and riders go to holidayvalleyforums.com.

The halfpipe is located on lower Foxfire. Foxfire’s half pipe is 400 feet long and 40 feet wide, with 10 foot vertical walls. Holiday Valley’s Zaugg Pipe Grinder is especially designed for Eastern snow conditions and to maintain the vertical walls and curved transition zone of the pipe.

The 2007-08 season will see some major changes. The majority of our terrain features will now be located in the east complex, serviced by the Cindys and Sunrise quads. Snoozer will become a "progression park" with intermediate level smaller boxes, rails and jumps. It will be a great place to learn how to use terrain features and a place to just relax and have some fun. Foxfire, the home of our new $25,000 worth of rails from Northern Rails will have larger features, starting just below the headwall. Foxfire will also be the site of most slopestyle events in the upcoming season. Moonshadow will consist of large rollers that are a blast for riders and skiers.

The Fun Park at the bottom of the Mardi Gras slope will again have rails and is designed for those skiers and riders with beginner through advanced park skills. Keep your ears and eyes open throughout the season for fun new features and events here!

And if you're new to riding, we have great news for 2007-08! Holiday Valley is now a Burton Learn to Ride Center and Burton Kids Learn to Ride Center! What this all means is that you'll learn from the best instructors using the best teaching methods on the best equipment. Find out more...

Holiday Valley’s Park Ranger crew is dedicated to maintaining all of the park features. Riders are encouraged to ask questions, make comments and suggestions directly to the Rangers or on http://www.holidayvalleyforums.com/.
